As a result, the lineup looks much smaller, but trainer Bob Baffert stands a strong chance to claim a twentieth Breeders’ Cup victory. His entrants feature Richi and Splendora, whereas Hope Road, victor in the Grade One Ballerina Stakes, is viewed as the primary threat.
